[MCD2-16] Game Fails to Launch on Steam OS

Description of Issue

Minecraft Dungeons 2 fails to launch in Steam OS.

Steps to Reproduce

Press “Play” for Minecraft Dungeons 2 in Steam. After a brief loading period where the steam game status reads:

Launching
Running Install Script

A pop-up then appears reading:

Error
The following component(s) are required to run this program:
Missing Game Services
Would you like to install them now?

Hitting yes results in a brief pause before the program stops and the “Play” button reappears. Hitting no immediately closes the attempt to launch the program.

Expected Result

The game launches and is playable.

Actual Result

The game fails to start after prompting for additional services.
