When I start the game on my main account I can start single player but if my son or wife log into their accounts we get an Error Code 0020. If instead, I quit out and my son launches the game from his account, which is a child account, it will let myself and my wife join and we can play together online. Same thing happens if my wife uses her account (not a child account but is a family account and not the main game pass account either). This not a fix but it’s certainly a workaround.

Which account is set as the 'guardian' of the Child Account, is it the primary Microsoft Account of the console? Is it possible that some other Outlook account is not logged in on the device?
Which account actually owns what - does the Child account have the license for Minecraft Dungeons II? Does it have its own Game Pass? Do they received the license from another account logged on the Xbox at the same time?
What is the level of log-in and activity restrictions put on the Child Account?

My account is the “guardian” account. I have gamepass which is shared with my sons account. My sons account needs permissions for 10+ games which permission was granted prior to launching in the first place so he could play with me. That’s said, It seems though that even if my wife, who had permissions on the console but not her own account, can start the game after I’ve also logged into the console and we don’t get the error. The error only happens when I launch the game while my profile is active. Hope this helps isolate the error.
We tried again tonight and had the same issues, couch co-op will only work if I log in, my son or wife then logs in after me and THEY start the game from their profile. If I start the game from my main profile, I can play alone but it will not allow either my son or wife to join as couch co-op without triggering the 0020 error.
