I can’t get past the “press any button” screen. When I press a button the screen freezes for a few seconds and then the game crashes before I can login to my Microsoft account. I already tried uninstalling the game and restarting my laptop, but the game won’t open. Every other game I have on Steam (including the first mcd) works just fine. I have a video of the issue, but the website doesn’t let me attach it.

Could you also try to attach a video in the comments?
Does this issue occur while you are not logged into an Microsoft account in Xbox app or Microsoft Store?

My Microsoft account is linked to the Microsoft store and the Xbox app. The rest of the video, (which I had to cut because it still wouldn’t let me upload) shows the other loading screens working perfectly
I finally managed to run the game by running it windowed. So it might actually be something related to the screen size
I have exactly the same problem, but in my case, the furthest I've gotten is the Warden animation before the game closed and a crash report appeared.
I'm having the same issue. Tried to run the game windowed but it didn’t work. Same crash report after the world starting to load.
