Quest menu stuck

This also happened to me on Switch 2, I had previously quickly opened and closed the side quest involving respawning the witch and it seemed to try to open that at the same time as opening the new quest. It resulted in that quest being stuck on the screen like it is in this video.

Also, when I closed and reopened the game, the hero I was playing as was completely reset to the beginning of the game.

This also happened to me. Trying to spam buttons as I speak to get past it.

Manual fix, playing on PC with a pre order version. As long as the game autosaved after you beat the Soul Corrupted Witch, you should be able to quit (Click X on Alt+Tab, not Alt+F4) and go back. I was forced to fight the witch again but it wasn’t too hard, just an inconvenience.
