Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: GLFW error 65542: WGL: The driver does not appear to support OpenGL

I get the above error all of the sudden. I have not made any change to my computer. I have been able to launch Minecraft without issue before today.

NOTE: checking the other threads, it seems similar issues have occured in the past. However no thread I could find actually defined a solution/resolution. Hopefully this form will provide an actual solution/resolution.

I did not mark "unreleased versions" your form is very obtuse and I recommend simplification and making more user friendly. Even more than that I recommend providing a solution/resolution.

This issue is not resolved with me the customer. There are no responses that define a solution thus far. What do you need from me to help me?
