crash while trying to launch game

i recently did a fresh install of window 7 on my laptop, and ever since minecraft hasnt worked. 

it crashes while trying to launch the game. saying "The game crashed whilst initializing game".

i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. deleting the .minecraft folder completely and redownloading the release. i tried updating java. installed every system update i can find. made sure all my hardware has the proper drivers. 

i dont know what to do at this. i have no idea what the problem could be.
