Launcher shows exclamation, there is a new version of the launcher available, but the Minecraft.deb file downloaded is the same version 2.1.2482

Same thing here.  I finally turned off "Update to Beta versions" so it would stop telling me to update to the version I already had.

Additionally, today I saw in the wiki that 2.1.3514-beta is available as of 2019-04-09, but even with "Update to Beta versions" re-enabled, "click here" still sends me to the normal download page with Minecraft.deb for 2.1.2482.  It doesn't offer any way to get to the beta, new or otherwise.

I still get the old launcher version (2.1.2482) from the official DEB link in minecraft download page, although the wiki shows that newest version is 2.1.3676, but I still get the old version for the DEB at the time of posting. The deb version should be updated too. Also download link in old launcher links me to page showing in the language I don't understand (Polish)

Edit: Disregard this, finally got the launcher updated about a hour later.

Was finally able to download 2.1.3676.

This is happening yet again.  Launcher 2.1.3676 is reporting there is a new update, but the Minecraft.deb available for download is still on 2.1.3676.

This bug is extremely frustrating.  If the launcher knows there is a new version, it should link to a place where I can download that version, instead of exactly the same version I already have installed.

I am having this issue as well.

The .deb install is the same version as the one that tells me to install it, and if I click the see options buttion, it takes me to a 404 page. I have to use the alternative downloads, and it doesn't show any betas.
