I cant load in a 1.12.2 modpack from twitch, but i can load a 1.7.10 one??

so, a few hours ago i saw that the Minecraft launcher got a nice update, very good job guys, but i opened up twitch because i wanted to play a 1.12.2 modpack and when i loaded the modpack, it immediately crashed and went back to the launcher with no error message, it just said that the game crashed, i tried to click on "View Crash Report" and nothing showed up. I just thought it was a single error so i gave it about 4 hours and i came back to it and i still got the same error message for the same 1.12.2 modpack. I tried a different 1.12.2 modpack but that one didn't work either. I then tried a 1.7.10 modpack and that one worked perfectly fine, the game loaded. Can you guys please fix this or give me some tips on how to fix this issue if its a problem on my side?
