Do you have ByteFence installed? If so, please see MCL-5546.
I have been having the same issue. I have run various tests to try and and identify any software that might be causing it and uninstalling it and have come up dry. The only software that could be causing this left is Akamai and the file path that it comes up on, on a HijackThis.exe test doesn't exsist...
Experiencing this problem on two computers on two different networks and two different internet service providers. None of the software installed is blocking it, to my knowledge, on either machine nor network.
Some users found using a VPN set to Canada or North America fixed this issue but I cannot confirm this as I have not tried it.
Currently affecting tested installs of 1.13-1.14.X.
Please explain how closing my issue as a duplicate and sending me to the duplicate post that I've already seen but is resolved and has no solution on my issue is going to help? My post is now shown as resolved so is this one and I still don't have a fix? Day 2 of me trying different things constantly and every other website has been more helpful thank minecrafts official page.
