Launcher downloading every pre-release even when "Snapshots" is unticked

The new Minecraft Launcher downloads each pre-release JAR to the versions folder even though I have "Snapshots" un-ticked in the "Installations" tab. The "Latest Snapshot" profile still appears and cannot be deleted. In the old launcher, unticking the "Snapshots" tab would remove the "Latest Snapshot" profile and prevent the launcher from downloading pre-release JARs.
