**I got it to open the launcher somehow, but if I close it I have to go back to the website and use the alternate link to download it again. Any idea on what bug is causing this/how to fix it?
I had a month off from Minecraft while I was moving. When I went to update it tonight (there have been at least 2 major updates) it got 66% of the way through and then froze, bringing up a pop-up that says Unable to Update Native Launcher.
Tried:
Install update - Failure
Uninstall, restart computer, reinstall - Failure
Repairing - Failure
Remove and try alternate (msi) link - Failure
I have attached the updateLog.txt and now a nativelog.txt. There is no launcher_log.
Can somebody help me with this?
