When launching a game from any profile, I get an error notification saying that the Minecraft Launcher app quit unexpectedly. This may be related to the issue where the window always opens in the top left and that profiles are not sorted by latest played. Keep in mind I have macOS app crashes shown as a notification, rather than a full separate window like default.

There was nothing of interest inside the launcher log, it looked the same as usual, and there wasn't a crash report anyway. The game still starts fine, it's just a little annoying to see as an error. Also it's mildly annoying that the launcher doesn't remember window positions or center itself on the desktop.
this just started today, I've never had any problems launching minecraft but this error keeps popping up.ย
I have been having a the exact same issue on Ubuntu 18.04.4
