cannot connect to athentication server? i bought minecraft and info works on old launcher.

like ill put ALL my info right but it will still say this: that either my password or username is incorrect

This happened to me too, I can log into Minecraft 1.5.2 and below, but i cant log into 1.6.2 but i could before, wtf? it says "Cannot contact authentication server"
