Unable to locate the Java runtime

after updating the launcher. I get the error: Unable to locate the Java runtime.

Support foams says to go to launch options, to disable this. In minecraft java edition, (what the launcher updated to) "launch options" doesn't exist anywhere that i can find. I tried to delete the runtime in the minecraft folder. The launcher then reinstalled the folder. I still get the same error. I'm not 100% sure I got the right version. I see 1.15.2 in the launcher

I solved this. The installer and the launcher has a bug, where they are not on the same page.

The installer is making :C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\bin...

The Launcher is looking for: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64*1.8.0_25*\bin...

A work a round for this:

Just make the 1.8.0_25 folder, after the jre-x64 folder. Then move everything into the new folder.
