Launcher depends on obsolete package

The launcher depends on gconf which is an obsolete configuration database system from which some systems are discontinuing support and moving out of official repositories. This may require users to manually download legacy packages that cannot be installed automatically. I realise the minecraft-launcher package itself is not a part of official repositories, however that is an unavoidable inconvinience unlike this issue. The launcher should begin transitioning to dconf to save it's settings as many programs are begining to do.

Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We are aware of the obsolete situation with gconf - this is unfortunately due to the launcher's external dependencies. We are looking into updating our dependencies which should remove the need to use gconf.

The dependency to gconf has now been removed! Thanks for making the Minecraft experience better on Linux.
