[MCL-14920] Game won't start from launcher, claims game crashed.

The launcher starts up just fine, I click play, the loading bar says preparing, then this error appears. I have completely deleted Minecraft and the launcher off my computer and re-downloaded them, but it didn't work. I use Linux Mint.

Having this same issue on my laptop. I tried going back to 1.16.1 to see if that helped and it did not. However on my regular computer I haven't had this issue.

Try this:

Click Settings, and General
Check "Open output log when games start"
Start Minecraft
When the game crashes, you will be given an exit code in the output log. Please paste it here
