Hello Valentin, it sounds like our protection mechanisms work as intended. We did not develop our APIs with the intent to allow developers to integrate towards it to mass-authenticate players - or as you put it, handle "spam requests".
If you need this for an event you can create a support ticket and we can review it on a case-by-case basis. Please make sure to include your IP address and the duration of the event.
I've been able to repro this issue with 1.7.7 and 1.7.2. We will look into what's causing the issue and see if we either can fix it or update our FAQ pages to better reflect which versions support what type of skin.
Hi, I've tried this out with a Microsoft account and updated my skin via Minecraft Launcher, and then tested multiplayer 1.18.2 and 1.8.9, as well as singleplayer 1.7.8. The skin appears different across versions depending on if you have a second layer, but it does appear. Could you please provide more information on the steps you took, what skin you tried with, etc.?
It looks like the quote marks that are supposed to be in the top left and bottom right are not rendering. The URL (https://www.minecraft.net/etc.clientlibs/minecraft/clientlibs/main/css/resources/theme-assets/svg/icons/pixel-begin-quote.svg) that is trying to load does not contain the images anymore. Thanks, I'll add it to the list of things to fix!

Hello Austin, this might happen more often if you're blocking content and/or deleting cookies. Is this during the Microsoft login flow?
In any case, these measures are placed to prevent spam and misconduct, so they serve a purpose. I will go ahead and close this as invalid, because it still sounds like they work as they should.

You should do better if you give it another try now. With that said, that profile name is taken so you will still not succeed. What is it you are trying to do?
