the launcher is a bit broken

when i went to play in my BETA world set up in my BETA folder it opened the game in 1.7.3 BETA but all the worlds where my 1.6.2 worlds! so I tryed to fix the problem but to no avail, I set it up so it would open the world in the BETA folder still nothing though!
