While launching Minecraft trough the Minecraft Launcher on an offline computer I always get this error :
Error : can't find the principal classe net.minecraft.client.main.Main
I won't use the New launcher cause I don't like them at all, but I think this is also a bug on those launchers.

How can you mark this issue as invalid or resolved when it's a bug that makes the game unlaunchable when there's no internet?
Imagine not being able to play Minecraft cause you doesn't pay for Internet?
I originally resolved your ticket as invalid as that issue is usually due to a problem with Java and your windows username, however if you're just getting this issue when you're offline then please attach a screenshot of the error message.
As I said the game was already completly downloaded when I was online. The game is working fine when online, so it's not an issue with Java nor Windows.
Then it's doing the same thing wathever the Operating System I use, not only Windows 10, but also macOS and Linux.
It's also doing the same error when the launcher was started when offline, but launching the game while online.
I attached the Launcher Log as a txt file and this picture to this message.
That's a very out of date launcher. Download the .msi from here: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download/alternative and see if the issue continues.
If you're not having the issue on the new version of the launcher then this issue can be marked as resolved. For the other issues please create new tickets 🙂
I don't think fixing the only issue on the old launcher would requires a lot of effort right?
For example, the Minecraft Server have a setting in server.properties to make it able to work offline, why not adding something like that in the Old Launcher?
Sounds like Mojang is so lazy that they can't fix a tiny bug.
And mark an issue as resolved when it's not.
It's not a technical support issue.
I'm saying that when the game is connected on Internet and already downloaded it's working.
However, it's not working when the game is already downloaded and not connected to Internet
