[MCL-1637] no sound in the versions older than 1.6

if you load the older versions of minecraft the sound will not work in versions older than 1.6

Hm, that the opposite of MCL-169 (No sound in 1.6x).

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" tab of the launcher.

Click the text, press CTRL-A to select all, then CTRL-C to copy, and CTRL-V to paste in a comment on this ticket.

If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".

What now ? No sound in "old beta and alpha snapshots" or "(release)versions older than 1.6" ?

As the dialog box said when you turned on the option for Alpha or Beta versions, "These versions are very out of date and may be unstable. Any bugs, crashes, missing features, or other nasties you may find will never be fixed in these versions."
