[MCL-16943] Unable to save / duplicate skins in the launcher

Whenever I try and upload a skin onto the launcher it says "unable to save skin" and it affects 1.16.1 as well 1.16.5 but I couldn't add that in for some reason

I am also having this issue. This has only ever happened before when my internet connection was being slow, but it has always been resolved. On a duplicate post, I restarted my game to allow the beta version of the launcher and logged out of it, but it has not been resolved. Please help!!

I am also having this issue. I just edited my old skin and the file for it won't upload and/or save. This is the file for it. I've had this issue for about a week and a half. I play on both java and bedrock.

Confused as to why this is marked as resolved, when it still hasn't been resolved. I'm having the exact same issue, there is no current way to fix this. There we two attempted resolves from people who don't even work for mojang, and yet- it's still not fixed, nor did those two 'resolves' work.

I would love to know that this is being worked on, or lead to where this has been resolved. Thanks 🙂

Still get same issue. Unable to save skin when adding a new skin. Cannot save skin when trying to add my current skin to my library. Cannot duplicate skin when trying to duplicate the standard steve or alex skins.
