Nothing happens when i try to open minecraft launcher

I can't open the minecraft launcher.

I bought minecraft java edition around a month ago, it's been working fine untill today. I clicked on the minecraft launcher shortcut, and nothing happened. I've tried restarting my pc several times, i've re-installed  the game, i've tried to open it from the files of my computer, i've tried to bug fix it, still nothing.

(I have been told that Mojang is now looking into it, if you have the same issue, it will likely be fixed in the next few hours.)
