[MCL-18164] Will not let me go past launch screen

That is the message I get and as I said it will not let me go past that screen to go to the minecraft homescreen

I also experiencing the same issue. I even uninstalled my whole minecraft and reinstalled again but the issue is still the same.

Same issue my up to date Linux Mint system keeps reporting a crash with the error code 0 very unusual for a Linux system. Minecraft has also disappeared from Software Manager so I am not able to reinstall it securely.

This is known to be a problem with your computer.
– Update your graphics card drivers. (Do not rely on automatic updates)
– If you are using Java arguments to increase the amount of memory, please reduce it to the default 2GB.
– If that did not help, please contact Community Support and refer to this ticket (e.g. "I have reported this issue on Mojira as MCL-XYZ.").
