Transparent Properties for Skins are No Longer Shown in the Launcher

When loading a skin with transparent properties into the Minecraft Java launcher, the properties are not shown in the launcher and are instead treated as if they do not exist. This did not previously seem to be an issue but has become apparent when loading up the launcher in the newer version. This includes loading older skins with transparent properties, and isn't an issue in-game. Along with this, it would seem that the whole upper layer may be completely ignored at random.
