After opening Minecraft it says "Sorry, something went wrong and you probably encountered an error" how do I fix this problem?

Duplicate of MCL-18214. A possible workaround that has worked for lots of users is to restart your device fully and then load up the launcher again.
happening to me i restarted my computer and it still didnt fix it 😞

I'm having the same issue with Java Edition when I try to load in. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft, as well as restarted my laptop with no luck.
