[MCL-1898] Minecraft closes itself when minimized

When I am playing minecraft, but need to do something else real quick, I click minimize and minecraft closes itself and reopens to the launcher. This gets very annoying because I am going to play again in just a minute and I have to re-start it. This only happens when I am at the main menu, not when playing the game.

What operating system? And, can you get a screen recording?
This doesn't happen to me on windows 8.
But it sounds annoying.

Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" tab of the launcher.

I believe this was fixed in 1.7.4. I no longer have this issue (Unless I go back to older minecraft editions)
