I keep getting an error code 2318 and my launcher just won't open. I cannot uninstall the launcher and i can't install the .exe alternative from the website either. I was able to uninstall and install other things, but the launcher just won'tt budge

I just had that error, I used Windows default "Program won't Uninstall/Install" fix. Created an account just to post this because I dealt with that error last night.😃

I had this issue as well. It coincided with transferring my Mojang acct. to the Microsoft acct. Minecraft support was not that helpful. Very disappointed. I will try this and hope for the best.
