Played Minecraft just fine last night. This morning, it can't find the internet?
Would not stop saying 'Play offline', no matter what troubleshooting I did or how long I waited.
Tried logging out and logging back in, but whenever I enter my information, it says it can't connect to the internet and log me in. That's the launcher's problem, as I'm typing this on that same computer.
Even tried deleting the launcher and re-installing it. Didn't work. Neither did restarting my router.
My spouse can login and play online just fine on their computer (same specs), so it's not the servers. What is going on?

I'm having this exact same issue. The strange part is I can log in on my Microsoft account (from my old Xbox days) but the Mojang account I actually use for Minecraft doesn't work.
Hey, I just solved the issue; hopefully this is an option for you. I linked my old Microsoft account with my Mojang account which you can do by logging onto minecraft.net and updating your profile, and now I just sign in with the Microsoft account and all my Mojang info was transferred to it. Realms, worlds, everything is there now.

There's no way I'm getting a microsoft account for as long as humanely possible. Thankfully I can still log in using a certain mod launcher and have online access, even if I want to play vanilla. That will have to work for now.
Same here since yesterday. I tried new installation, turned off virusscanner and firewall, logged out and tried to log in again, but its says, i have no internet.
Waiting for a solution. Must be the Launcher 2.2.5519
