My launcher seems to be running in offline mode although i have internet connection.
I tried to reconnect using the button on the top left corner next to the "No Connection" but it stays the same

okay i have updated it

I am also experiencing this bug and when I try to play in offline mode Minecraft stops responding and crashes. 😞 I attached my launcher log plz help me I actually just got Minecraft about 30 mins ago and I cant even play it.

I also have this problem please help... I just bought the game
So I found out what the problem was.... I deleted the .minecraft folder and redownloaded the legal launcher...

I have uploaded a copy of the launcher text and a pic... probably useless. thanks

gwin7ok - I'm not sure if you're asking how to configure your firewall to allow-list the Launcher - but for the "can't connect to services" problem you're facing on a win10 device, the understood solution is to install xbox console companion and xbox app and login to both:
Xbox Console Companion: https://aka.ms/xcc
Xbox App: https://aka.ms/DLXboxApp
Assuming you see no errors in the xbox app, that should resolve your problem. If there are other dependencies missing, then there may be more action necessary.
That said: It is a good idea to allowlist the Launcher as well - but that's likely not at the root of what's going on now.

@unknown san. thank you for your reply.
The result of testing in my environment.
Even if I log in with my Microsoft account on the Xbox Console Companion and Xbox App, if I set the firewall to "Ountbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked", the minecraft launcher goes offline.
Even if I don't log in with my Microsoft account on the Xbox Console Companion and Xbox App, if I set the firewall to "Ount bound connections that do not match a rule are allowed", the minecraft launcher will be online.
So, in order to use minecraft launcher with the firewall set to "Ountbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked", I need to add minecraft launcher to the firewall's Outbound Rules, but now It cannot be added with the path name running in the version of.

After reinstalling Gaming Services according to the procedure on this page,
Diagnosing and troubleshooting Gaming Services dependencies
after reinstalling minecraft launcher, the launcher was installed in a different location and can be registered in the firewall, so the problem Has been resolved.

I'm having a similar bug MCL-22352

Same issue happens with the Windows 7/8 launcher - for which your XBox and Gaming apps DO NOT EXIST (they are Windows 10 or 11 specific).
Those CAN'T be dependencies for the 7/8 launcher - and if they are, that is a MAJOR ISSUE since Mojang still officially supports those operating systems with what it supposed to be it's own version of the launcher.
And for reference, I don't use "Windows firewall" and have it completely turned off - but I do have the applicable port forwarding set on my router/firewall/switch appliance box.
Hello! We're sorry you're experiencing this problem. In order to diagnose the problem, we need to look at your launcher log file. It's called launcher_log.txt, and can be found in your Minecraft folder. Please attach it to this bug report.
