On the older launcher, I was able to have multiple Microsoft accounts for my family on the launcher at a time, being able to click in the top left dropdown of the launcher and choose between available Microsoft accounts (for java edition). Now, the only option is too "switch account" which requires a re-entering of the password every time I would like to switch between accounts, and also removes the previous "logged out" account from the launcher entirely. I would appreciate it if this feature could be re-added, because it was a lot easier to switch accounts before. I would recommend adding a button like the "add Mojang account" button, except just make it "add Microsoft account".

I am running into the same issue. When switching microsoft accounts on the launcher it pops up for a slight second after which it disappears into nothingness and you will have to switch once again. Extremely frustrating that I cannot seemlessly switch between my alt accounts or family/friends playing on my computer. Would like to see thisone resolved, because until then this version of the launcher is inferior to the already existing launcher.
