When I open the launcher, I have to log in my account, but the launcher doesn't let me play the full version Minecraft but the demo even thought I bought the game. And when I close the launcher and reopen it, I have to relog on my account. Also my account avatar doesn't render.
Update
So I decided to do a bit more investigating to try a fix this problem and I found that:
The retry button (the one label "Réessayer" in the screenshots) doesn't work.
Uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft doesn't fix the problem.

With a friend of mine, we did some more investigating and we found out that the old Minecraft Launcher work just fine for me, it just the new launcher that doesn't want to work.
So if you want to play Minecraft again, uninstall the new launcher and reinstall the old launcher (look that the latest screenshot to see which link to click on for installing the old launcher for the ones who are having this problem)
If this still doesn't work for you, tell me and I'm willing try to help as must as possible.

Same. I initially tought that it was because I made some security configurations in my microsoft account, but I can see that this is not the case. Please solve this problem!!

Yeah! When using the old launcher, Minecraft work just as expected. The problem is in the new launcher and is very annoying.
I can't even download it despite owning it.
Same. Not only do I own Java Edition AND Bedrock, but I also have GamePass. The new launcher isn't aware of any of this, wants me to buy it again. Can't try it with my Mojang account because I've migrated already, which I had assumed was intended to make sure this very issue didn't happen... Glad I can still use the old launchers but pretty disappointed by this experience.
i went back to the old launcher and now it works fine, i still hate the red bar on the bottom that says "There is a new, improved launcher. Download it now!" though
Well, for it will do for now. At least they are not forcing us to update, yet.

tried to move to the new launcher to see if it would work yet still the exact same problem, are they ever going to fix this?
I'm having the exact same issue! i contacted Minecraft support about it and they didn't help at all, if anyone has a fix to this please tell me!
