i was having a problem with an ox error message. got that resolved with the help of some great mods help. now it is on the install screen with zero progress shown. the first time i started it after the fix. the progress bar went all the way up and the window closed but nothing was installed on my pc at all. now ive tried a few times to use the launcher to install. it just stis there i left it sit for 2 hours and no movement on the progress bar. every time i restart my pc before trying again. as im writing its sitting there with no progress for about an hour now. i hope this issue can get resolved just as quick as the last one. thanks in advance to the team that continues to work on problems like this. you ladies and gentleman are more than amazing.

Does this issue still occurs to you on newest version of Launcher?
Have you tried to install Launcher from the minecraft.net website?
Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account?
Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date?

Go to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download and select "Download for Windows 7/8". Use the old Java launcher instead. There is currently a bug affecting the latest launcher for Windows 10/11, hopefully, it will get resolved ASAP.
