How to replicate:
1. Start the Launcher (version 2.3.136)
2. Go to "Mincraft: Java Edition>Installations"
3. Click the three dots of one entry
4. Click on "Edit"
5. Click on the "Browse" Button next to the Game Directory option
6. The Launcher will Crash

My son has this same issue and it seems there is a segfault in libpthread when the browse button is pushed
