Could not delete a file error

I installed Dungeons on the launcher and it showed me an error Could not delete a file after it downloaded. Maybe I could try to delete that file (or files)? By the way I still can't play it.

Hi there!

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation:

  • Did you have dungeons previously installed on your PC?

  • If yes, have you tried uninstalling Dungeons in 'Apps & Features' ?

  • Have you tried to install the older version of the Launcher?

  • Could you please see if the installation process is started on Xbox app or MS store?

  • Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account?

  • Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?

  • Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date?

  • Have you tried to re-registering MS store as written here

  • Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?

  • Could you provide us with video of said issue?

Hi again!

Is Dungeons on the same account you are logged in on MS store?
If yes, search for the game on MS store, and try to install it from there.
Did you try to install the game on different directory/different drive?
Have you looked in the Dungeons directory where you are installing the game? Have you deleted the files from there?
Have you tried booting Launcher in Beta? (can be found in General Settings tab)
Also please check if Windows firewall is not blocking Launcher or Dungeons.
Please attach launcher_log file from .minecraft folder.

Please attach the full launcher log found in {{minecraft/launcher_log.txt}}.

Hi once again!
Please check for your graphic card drivers update (search for them regardless and reinstall them).
Do you use Java version of Minecraft? Do you have Optifine mods on it?
Could you please look into your Dungeons directory and see if the game is installed there?
Also, please check your Xbox app if the installation process stared there when you began installation in Launcher.
Also, log file is definitely way too large, delete it, and run the installation again, and see the launcher_log.txt
And see if the solution in MCL-20795 might help you.
