Been waiting for 10 minutes and the play button hasn't loaded

• Have you tried to install older version of the Launcher from the minecraft.net (Windows 7/8)?

• Have you tried reinstalling the Launcher?

• Did this issue occurred more than once?

• Have you tried reinstalling your JDK java program?

• Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account? 

• Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?

• Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date? 

• Have you tried to re-registering MS store as written here? 

• Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?

• Have you tried booting Launcher in Beta mode?

What I recommend is to try and install older version of Launcher from the minecraft.net (Windows 7/8).

For newest version of the Launcher, please uninstall JDK java in 'Apps & Features', delete .minecraft folder (copy it elsewhere beforehand if any worlds or saved accounts are there, Uninstall Launcher and then install it again. Please also remember to install Java JDK 18.
As for beta, go to Launcher->settings->general->'use beta version of the Launcher'

• Are your graphic card drivers up-to-date? Please check for updates regardless.

• Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps? 

What I also suggest: disable all of the overlays like: Discord, Nvidia (or other graphic cards) overlay + be sure to turn off all of the program which can affect graphic settings like programs which read temperatures and cpu/gpu load.

• Does this issue occurs every time you reopen the Launcher or was it one-time issue?

• Could you try to reinstall the Launcher? After deleting it, find .minecraft and delete the file - what is important that this file should be deleted from the trash bin, because corrupted files from the old .minecraft file may interract with the newly generated .minecraft file.
