Every time I use an app besides the mc launcher before opening the mc launcher, it crashes. While restarting my pc does work, it only works once; If I open the mc launcher before anything else it functions normally. But after I close it, use another app, and then want to relaunch mc, the launcher crashes every time I try to open it once again. I am able to launch the mc launcher and play mc normally, as long as I open it first, but not if I open something else first. I can use other apps while the launcher is open and it will still work, it is launching the launcher that is the problem. I have checked my drivers and they are up to date. Please can you try to give me a more permanent solution than restarting my pc every time. Thank you.

Logging out of my Xbox and MS store accounts fixed the issue. They ran in the background while the issue was present. Thank you very much for the help.

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation:
Does this issue occur on current beta version of the Launcher?
Does this issue occur on the Vanilla version of the Launcher (without mods)?
Have you tried to install older version of the Launcher from the minecraft.net website (Windows 7/8 version)?
Have you tried reinstalling the Launcher, but deleting .minecraft folder beforehand (copy it elsewhere before deleting)
Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account?
Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?
Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date?
Have you tried updating/downgrading JDK Java version (to version 17/18)?
Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?
Do you use VPN or any of the incompatible software on machine you try to log-in?
