I successfully installed "Minecraft for Mac" and opened launcher application, but when I tried to login (with Microsoft account), the launcher, after showing the loading screen for about 30 seconds, produces these errors. I tried looking up the phrase "Eroded Badlands", as well as the error code "0x80004005", but I found nothing helpful. What is interesting, is that even though I am using the launcher for mac, the error message still mentions that there is a problem with Windows.

I'm having the same or a similar problem.
The problem began immediately after I migrated to a Microsoft account. The account migration was successful, but the error message appears once each time I try to log in using the launcher on my Mac (after entering my username and password).
Unfortunately, the Minecraft Launcher Troubleshooting FAQ contains only Windows-specific solutions – nothing for Mac.
Yes Zgajak, every time, although sometimes, instead of getting the eroded badlands err, I get the "something went wrong" message. But the problem still persists.
I'm having this exact same issue right now except I just woke up and saw the error pop up every time I clicked on my account. Can anyone help me?
I have had this exact error as well. I will note that I have had absolutely no issues with my internet and this device persists regardless of restarting the launcher, restarting the device, restarting the internet, trying different wifi networks, connecting via VPN, and deleting and reinstalling the launcher.
Furthermore, if I try to access my account via minecraft.net, it says that "sisu.xboxlive.com" is not responding. Are a bunch of microsofts servers down and causing this issue? I thought my login token would've been sufficient from earlier yesterday, since I had been playing minecraft totally fine earlier in the day.
My log from the updated (and still not working) launcher can be found here: https://pastebin.com/2BNRLM7z
I uninstalled the launcher and then tried to install again after getting that exact error
It takes too long for that and bottom message says "Waiting for Installation to Begin..." then "Downloading..." then "Starting Installation..." and this message cycle repeats
I am using Windows 11 though
Edit 28/7: My launcher managed to download and managed to log in
For me that issue has been fixed somehow
I encountered this error this morning after a restart; I believe mine was caused by me clearing my CMOS which reset the time keeping for my motherboard. After telling Windows to resync the time, logging out and back in on the Xbox app, I was able to relog back into the Minecraft launcher.
i have been having the same problem as well, I was randomly booted out of my account and when i tried to log in i had the exact same error message. I thought it was an error with the launcher so i reinstalled. When i did the the minecraft.net site wouldnt even let me log in with an error message: https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/login?error=InternalServerError&error_description=Some+exception+happenen#state=login. This issue has been happening for almost a week now for me and i need to get back to my account.
Hi there!
Could you record a video of the issue?
Does the error code message appears more than once? Does it appear every time you try to sign in?
