the play button shows signs of it loading instead of the usual "play". I cannot launch the game and it's been loading for a while. I have played the game before. Neither Vanilla, Forge nor Fabric are loading. I've restarted both Minecraft and my PC several times.
What I expected to happen was...:
the play button to show up so I can launch the game
What actually happened was...:
the game loads for hours and it hasn't finished yet.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I opened the launcher
2. the dots are showing instantly
