Minecraft Launcher closes when java edition crashes.

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation: 

• Does this issue occur on Windows 10/11 version of the Launcher or Windows 7/8 version?

• Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account? 

• Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?

• Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date (check for updates regardless)? 

• Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?

• Are your graphic card drivers up-to-date? Please check for updates regardless.

• Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.

• Do you use VPN or any of the incompatible software on machine you try to log-in?  

• Could you provide us with more in-depth repro steps?

I am having the same issue.

• This is with the Windows 11 version

• I am logged into both the Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher

• I have tried signing out

• They are up to date

• I have more than enough space

• My drivers are up to date

• I have reinstalled the launcher completely

• I do not use any incompatible software

I have attached the full launcher log as I can't find the crash-reports folder. (I sure hope there is no sensitive data) I did see it before I reinstalled but now there isn't one. I use mods a lot so there is lots of troubleshooting involved, so it would be fantastic if this was fixed. And yes this still happens without mods. I'd also like to note that in my case, I need to open task manager and "end task" for the Minecraft launcher to get it to launch again.

Edit: I forced a crash with F3 + C and got a crash report. Adding that instead

I am unable to reproduce this behavior; the launcher stays open and shows me the game crash message. Is this still an issue in 2.3.619?

This issue seems to be resolved. I switched to GD launcher but regardless, I don’t encounter this anymore even with the Mojang launcher
