Mob vote mobs stop shaking when mouse hovers over check mark on voting screen

The bug

The Minecraft Live mobs in the mob vote selection screen stop shaking when their check mark is hovered over. One would expect that, due to the resolution of MCL-17472, hovering over this icon would not interrupt the actions of the element behind it.

Note that this is not legitimately reproducible until October 14 at 12 PM EDT, when the Minecraft Live mob vote opens.

How to reproduce

1. Change your System time to any time between October 14, 12 PM EDT and October 15, 12 PM EDT

2. Open the Minecraft Launcher, and navigate to the Minecraft Live section

3. Click "Vote Now!"

4. Select the Sniffer _{(which is good practice for what you should do during the vote} 🙂₎

5. Pass your cursor above the check mark icon
   ❌ The mob stops shaking as you do this
