After accidentally logging out of my profile, when I attempt to log back in the launcher freezes. It only freezes when I use my correct email and password, incorrect login information does not cause the launcher to freeze and it reacts as expected. Closing and reopening the launcher does not help.
What I expected to happen was...:
When I attempted to login, I expected it to log me in or tell me that my username or password was invalid.
What actually happened was...:
The launcher froze. It would not respond to clicking any part of it. The close window button does nothing. The only way to exit the launcher is to use the task manager to end the program.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log out of profile.
2. Enter Email and Password
3. Press the "Log in" button

I've found out what was causing this. The .minecraft folder and it's content were somehow changed to read-only. This report can be removed. Sorry for any time I've wasted with this.
Please attach the complete output of the "Development console" which can be found on the second tab of the launcher.
If the launcher closes after game start, please edit your profile and select "Launcher visibility" then, "Keep the launcher open".
