Hi I got the Bedrock edition "for free" in the launcher, probably because I own it on Xbox or something, in any case, I'm wondering why I can't play the java edition, it just says that I still don't own it, but I've heard that you can get Java for free if you own bedrock i wonder why it doesn't work for me

I can also suggest these solutions:
Install Xbox app, Xbox companion and Xbox identity provider.
Please go to Apps (apps & features) in Windows settings, click each app (Xbox app, Ms store, Xbox companion) then click advanced options, and then click on each one, 'Terminate' and 'Reset', then restart your computer.
Sign out of all your Windows/Xbox apps and sign again with the same account.
Please also try to install Launcher from minecraft.net website.
