Minecraft Java/Bedrock Soothing Scenes video cannot be paused, doing it will result in the launcher going black.

Can you please uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please start the Launcher without installing the mods.

Moving .minecraft and reinstalling the launcher opens a Minecraft Updater window which goes successful. The bug still persists.

I can't reproduce this both on the legacy windows launcher and microsoft store launcher.

Did you uninstall optifine or any other mods?

What I also suggest: disable all of the overlays like: Discord, Nvidia (or other graphic cards) overlay + be sure to turn off all of the program which can affect graphic settings like programs which read temperatures and cpu/gpu load.

No mods were installed during the checks and no overlays are active. The launcher bug is not about the mods, it happens when the mods are uninstalled too.
