[MCL-23619] Bug after update deletes all versions of the game

all my versions have been deleted after an update!!

I had more than 10 modded versions and they were all deleted, I need to know what happened

Hi there!

Are you able to reproduce the issue again?
Do can you check your versions folder in .minecraft and see if the installations are still there?
Also bare in mind, that Mojang does not support modded versions in Launcher, and the outcome of using them can be unpredictable.

Yes, the installations are in the folder, only they no longer appear in the launcher, I had several versions there but they don't appear in the launcher, I can't reproduce the error again because it only happened in the launcher update

Hi!

Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (before deletion, copy what's inside to other directory) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
After the installation, please copy content from .minecraft back to its place and then boot the Launcher again.
