Despite unchecking the snapshots option in patch notes tab and the installations tab, the snapshot versions still appear in the version list.
How to reproduce the issue:
Open Minecraft Launcher
Go to the Installations tab
At the top right you can see versions, uncheck snapshots
Then go to patch notes tab, at the top left you can see versions, uncheck snapshots again.
Then go to the installations tab again and click new installations.
Click on version
You should still see snapshots appearing in the list.

We're tracking this issue in MCL-21191, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
That ticket has already been resolved as working as intended, which means this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
