So, I was uploading some skins to my copy of Minecraft on my new computer, and the incident took place at precisely 11:58 P.M. on 12/8/2023. I had uploaded 5 of them and applied the Vanilla cape to one, when I noticed the one on which my Vanilla cape was attatched disappeared from my list of skins. No problem, I'll just re-add it.
Except... when I go to re-add it, the "Cape" option is completely gone!!! No migration cape, no Vanilla cape, nothing. No warning, no explanation... nothing. My capes are just... deleted.
My minecraft username is nightlocust. I am using Java with the old Mojang launcher. Any help would be appreciated.
