I truly don't understand why whoever keeps marking these as resolved when after 2 years nothings been changed and the problem still persist.
All of these bug posts have the EXACT same problem, yet all are marked resolved, and yet the problem STILL PERSIST. Either fix the issue THEN mark it as resolved, or stop marking things as resolved that VERY CLEARLY aren't. There's a whole lot more posts with the exact same issue, I just listed 4 out of the 20+ I could find. IT HAS BEEN YEARS, FIX THE ISSUE.

Can you please upload a video of the issue?
Do you have GNOME Keyring installed or KDE Wallet?

Please also upload launcher_log file from your .minecraft folder.
Please also clean up cached account tokens in settings.
Please also state version of your OS.
