[MCL-24310] The launcher after redeeming a Minecraft gift code allows me to play Minecraft JAVA but does not allow me to play "Minecraft for Windows".

This seems strange to me because unfortunately as they now sell both versions of Minecraft (Java and Bedrock) I want to play both versions and it won't let me I would be attentive to a solution thanks

Hi there!

Could you answer few questions regarding this issue, it will help with the investigation:

Does this issue occur on Windows 10/11 version of the Launcher or Windows 7/8 version?
Are you logged in in both Xbox app, MS store, and Launcher with the same MS account?
Have you tried signing out of all your Windows Apps, and the signing in again?
Is your Windows and associated apps (Xbox app, MS store) up-to-date (check for updates regardless)?
Do you have enough free space on your disc drive?
Have you tried installing the Launcher on a different drive?
Are your graphic card drivers up-to-date? Please check for updates regardless.
Please also uninstall the Launcher, delete .minecraft folder (copy its content elsewhere before deletion) and then reinstall, restart your computer. Then please try to boot the Launcher.
Do you use VPN or any of the incompatible software on machine you try to log-in?
Please also check Windows Defender if it blocks Minecraft Launcher.
Could you provide us with launcher_log file from .minecraft folder.
