[MCL-24433] Minecraft Bedrock ostensibly uninstalled

Although I had Minecraft Bedrock Edition installed, after the release of 1.21 the "play" button has turned into an "install" button and, when I click it, it says "Sorry, something went wrong connecting to our servers. Please try again later, and if the error persists, you can report a bug here[link]".

Can you please share a video/screenshot of this issue?
Can you see if the game is still installed from 'start' menu?
Can you also please open Microsoft store/Xbox app and try to start/install the game from there?
