Hello,
I wanted to play Minecraft on my MacBook Air M1 2020, so I started the launcher. Unfortunately, the launcher didn‘t open and displayed me a error message. I‘ll provide the log later.
I Hope that this can be fixed soon!
Kind regards,
Atten007

Mac user here, found a workaround.
Drag the .minecraft contents to a temporal folder and start the launcher, it should create all files and you can just drag them back.
(Make sure you don't overwrite the existing files after they are generated)
